My first cell phone was an innocent little blackberry converted to a PDA in a class reunion and I am not ashamed to admit that I got a brand new one. A lot of my friends had their first cell phones made when they were in college and it seemed that everyone wanted one. Today, you can find some pretty sweet cell phones made just for the younger crowd. With all the options out there you really do have something for everybody.

When I got my first cell phone, I decided that I would like one with a dial tone. I decided that it was too easy to hear when someone was calling and nobody needed to hear me talk when they were on the phone. That is not the case today though. There are some phones that run so well that I hardly notice them because the pictures are so bright and the sound is so crisp.

A lot of the older phones that were made when I was first getting calls did not have any buttons and you had to punch in every number to call them back. What you pick is up to you but make sure that it is something that they will like to use. The important thing is that when your kids find a phone that they like, it helps them learn how to use technology and get to know the phone.
